As personal injury specialists with expertise in road traffic accidents, our team are working to raise awareness of Road Safety Week 2018.
Though the Lincolnshire countryside is a beautiful, tranquil place; its dangers often go unseen. During the shorter days and longer nights, there can be significantly reduced visibility and in increasingly bad weather, safety can be compromised. Whilst our rural Lincolnshire roads are scenic, they are also some of the most dangerous in the country. In 2017, serious road collisions in Lincolnshire hit a 15-year high with 568 people killed or seriously injured.
Earlier this year, we ran a safer roads campaign with local schools to design a road safety banner. In support of Brake’s Road Safety Week 2018 (19 - 25 November), we’re extending this campaign to provide a selection of useful resources for local schools to use in and around their buildings in order to further help educate the children on how to be safer on the roads. These include banners, posters and helpful fact sheets for sharing across social media.
