Working with a range of gas, electricity, water and telecoms companies across the UK, our utilities recoveries team deals with recovery of consumer, SME and major business accounts. We currently act for 7 of the largest utility companies in the UK, both recovering and resolving disputes for both live and final accounts.
Our approach is to:

Where payment arrangements are not available, we work closely with each client to assess the commercial viability of legal proceedings and determine the most appropriate and cost effective enforcement method.
In close partnership with utilities, we have devised cost effective and innovative recovery models for the collection of domestic and business energy and water debt. These models focus on identifying the cases that are suitable for litigation activity at the outset when the debt becomes overdue by an analysis of your data, as opposed to the traditional approach of using litigation when all else fails. This focus increases revenue collections and keeps litigation costs to a minimum.
