Rachel is a senior associate working in the dispute resolution team of our recoveries department.
She is experienced in dealing with complex and high-value defended commercial litigation claims. Rachel specialises in the niche area of energy and water litigation but has wide experience in commercial litigation across various sectors, such as building supplies, debt purchase, finance, food, education, media, professional services, waterways and wholesale distribution. Rachel helps clients of all sizes from owner-managed local businesses to national corporations, from credit unions to charitable foundations, and from landlords to local authorities.
Starting her legal career in 2006, after graduating from the University of Leicester, Rachel began working as a paralegal in a traditional high street practice. During this time, and her training contract, Rachel gained experience in a wide variety of areas of law before qualifying in December 2010 into commercial litigation. Since qualification, Rachel has focused on commercial litigation in a recoveries context and is now an experienced specialist in this field.
As well as providing an excellent service to clients, Rachel is the learning and development manager responsible for the ongoing training and development of the recoveries department. She also provides training for clients which covers the litigation process, including the potential risks involved and the key tactics to be aware of.
Submit an enquiry and Rachel will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your needs.
