Wilkin Chapman is pleased to announce its partnership with North East Lincolnshire Mind for their annual corporate charity football tournament on Sunday 7th July 2024.

North East Lincolnshire Mind is a vital mental health charity serving Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and nearby areas. Their mission is to provide advice and support for anyone facing mental health challenges. Through initiatives like the annual corporate charity football tournament, they raise funds to maintain these essential services and promote mental well-being in our community.

The tournament will feature 16 teams, arranged in a 7-a-side format, and divided into four groups. This structure ensures a competitive and engaging day of football, offering teams the chance to showcase their skills and connect with others in the local business community. Participation requires an entry fee of £150.00 per team, which directly supports North East Lincolnshire Mind's vital services, including counselling, support groups, and crisis interventions. This contribution underscores the broader impact of the event, extending beyond the day's competition to support mental health initiatives in our region.

In addition to team entries, the tournament offers various sponsorship opportunities. Local businesses can gain visibility and demonstrate their support for mental health awareness and community wellbeing by sponsoring different aspects of the event, such as trophies, the presentation board, or the event programme. These sponsorships offer a unique avenue for businesses to align their brand with positive community values and the promotion of mental health awareness. Further details of these opportunities can be provided on request.

Why should your business participate? The tournament provides a platform for businesses to engage in meaningful team-building exercises, enhance their local network, and publicly affirm their commitment to supporting community causes. By sponsoring tournament elements like trophies or the event programme, businesses can align their brand with positive community impact.

We invite local businesses to participate in this tournament to help make it a success. By joining, your company will play a crucial role in supporting an essential community service.
