The Louth office of Wilkin Chapman solicitors has recently been named as an Age Friendly Business by Community Lincs, and is the only law firm in Louth to be recognised with the merit.
The Age Friendly Business awards were established to recognise businesses that provide an excellent service and environment for older customers across the region. With 26% of the population in East Lindsay being over 65, compared to the national average of 16%, the contribution that local businesses make to their quality of life is vitally important.
Wilkin Chapman were recognised by the awards for their excellent accessibility, which includes wheelchair access and a hearing loop. They also offer home visits for clients who are unable to come into the office. Marketing materials are offered in large print, and staff were recognised as being welcoming and friendly, with first aid training and a first aid box located in reception.
Additionally, the solicitors at their Louth office are very experienced in assisting the legal needs of the older generation and specialise in making and updating wills, including: giving advice about potential Inheritance Tax and Nursing Homes Fees, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and winding up of estates.
