Wilkin Chapman appoints Head of Business Development and Marketing to realise growth ambitions

The region’s largest solicitors, Wilkin Chapman, has appointed a new head of business development and marketing, Lindsay Rubie.

Lindsay joins the firm from HSBC Bank Plc, where she carried out a number of commercial roles since 2005, most recently as agricultural relationship manager. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge about the region and its business needs, and has vast experience in managing and developing client portfolios.

She will split her time between the offices, and will focus on raising the firm’s profile, developing its reputation and helping the firm and its client to achieve their commercial goals.

Lindsay commented: “What attracted me to the role was that Wilkin Chapman is a forward thinking firm that is committed to the local area. From my short time with the firm, I recognise that it is a business that enables excellence, both for the clients and for its employees. I am very much looking forward to showcasing this excellence and developing strong relationships with clients and expanding links with the local business community.”

Her appointment comes after a record performance in 2016, and ambitious growth plans for 2017.

Des Mannion, CEO of Wilkin Chapman, commented: “We have just carried out a strategic review and are in a period of strong growth for the firm and a very exciting time for the region; north and south of the Humber. We are delighted to have Lindsay’s expertise on board to realise these opportunities, and are already reaping the benefits of her skill set.”
