Wilkin Chapman solicitors took the top award at the North Lincolnshire Business Awards last night (Friday May 13th), as many of the region’s businesses were recognised for outstanding performance over the last twelve months.
The law firm, which has 10 offices across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, received the Forrester Boyd ‘Business Excellence Award’ at the ceremony, held by Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce. The Business Excellence Award is chosen by the judges and given to the company which has stood out amongst all nominations.
The award recognises the Northern Lincolnshire-based business as ‘a shining beacon of excellence’ and an example to other businesses of ‘hard work, profitability, good management, adaptability and sustainability’.
The North Lincolnshire Business Awards were held at The Grimsby Auditorium and hosted by locally-born TV personality Helen Fospero.
As well as scooping the top award, Wilkin Chapman also sponsored the Business Person of the Year Award at the ceremony, which was won by Paul Barker from JemBuild
Wilkin Chapman CEO, Des Mannion, and senior partner, Mark Carlton, collected the firm’s award.
