Pan-Humber law firm achieves ISO9001:2008 certification

Wilkin Chapman LLP, recently recognised as being one of the top 200 UK law firms, has successfully achieved IS0 9001:2008 certification for the services provided by its debt recovery and insolvency department. This latest award adds to the department’s national status as a leading provider of debt recovery and insolvency services.

Certification to ISO 9001:2008 means that the debt recovery and insolvency department’s management systems have been independently audited, and conform to the ISO 9001:2008 quality standard, which is part of the ISO 9000 family of standards. These internationally recognised standards, address an organisation’s quality management systems, and help to ensure that their products and services consistently meet the needs and expectations of customers.

Commenting on the firm’s certification, Gary Jarvis, from the Centre for Assessment Ltd, the independent certification body responsible for conducting the ISO 9001:2008 assessment, said: “I would like to congratulate Wilkin Chapman LLP on the successful outcome of their recent ISO 9001 Assessment. Their compliance with the standard demonstrates a commitment to quality, and the service they deliver to their customers. Well done to everybody involved in this achievement. We look forward to working with the organisation in the future”

Adding to Gary’s comments, Julia Whittaker, chief executive of Wilkin Chapman LLP, said: “The recent achievement of the ISO 9001 standard by our debt recovery and insolvency department, reflects the hard work of partner and head of department, Chris Grocock, and his team. It is a real achievement and adds to the firm’s Lexcel status, providing further assurance to clients that they will receive a professional and quality service.”
