About Russell

Russell is a consultant for the corporate and commercial department, based at our Lincoln office.

Following qualification Russell has dealt exclusively with the business client, initially in Lincoln until 1996 when he joined Wilkin Chapman LLP in Grimsby and then from September 1999 when he returned to Lincoln to run the corporate and commercial department.

He specialises in the provision of company commercial advice ranging from mergers and acquisitions through to intellectual property and insolvency advice.

Russell is also part of the firm's renewable energy division and advises principally farmers on the structuring and contractual arrangements of anaerobic digestion projects.

Russell is a member of the Area Council for the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and company secretary for Lincoln Business Improvement Group.

Eke advised the shareholders of Provantis Amenity on the £3.5m share disposal, including sale of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Headland Amenity. Other highlights included assisting Martract’s shareholders with a £4.3m share disposal and acting for two shareholders of Albert Darnell in a share disposal including a pre-completion restructuring and a completion accounts mechanism.
