Reece Townsend is a trainee solicitor in the commercial property team based in our Lincoln office.
Reece attended the University of Lincoln, and also studied abroad at Universität Augsburg in Germany, before graduating with a first class degree in LLB Law. Having received an ‘Academic Excellence Scholarship’ after receiving numerous academic awards at university, he went on to complete the Legal Practice Course together with a Master of Laws at Nottingham Trent University.
He commenced his training contract with our firm in 2022, undertaking his first seat in commercial property. He was regularly involved in drafting leases and reviewing terms of proposed lease renewals. He helped with transactions of various property types, including agricultural land and commercial units.
In his second seat, Reece worked in the dispute resolution team. He frequently reviewed claim documents, attended client meetings and conferences with counsel, and assisted in the preparation for court hearings. His work saw him involved in matters relating to agriculture, contentious probate, and property disputes.
