David Richardson

David Richardson is a senior associate in the dispute resolution team based in our Beverley office.

David joined Wilkin Chapman in December 2022 having studied Law at the University of Hull, qualifying in 2011 with a Bachelor of Law. After university, he started work as a paralegal at a national commercial practice. On the weekend and evening, he completed the Legal Practice Course at BBP Law School, completing the course in 2014.

David went on to complete his training contract at another firm and qualified in 2017. He worked for a number of international insurers and household names such as Tesco, Bonmarche, River Island, CEVA Logistics and Stericycle. 

He has varied and extensive commercial litigation and insurance dispute experience. David has started developing his agricultural dispute experience and has worked with several rural insurance brokers and land agents.  

“I specialise in rural and agricultural disputes, and have experience in crop and machinery failures, contractual disputes, agricultural tenancies, partnership disputes and property disputes,” explains David.

“I like to get to know my clients and their businesses, I’ve found this helps me provide the best and well-rounded advice,” David commented.
