Mat is a partner, solicitor and insolvency practitioner, and one of a few solicitors in the UK to hold a full appointment-taking insolvency licence.
Mat leads the firm's insolvency team, based at our Beverley office, and works closely with head of department, Chris Grocock, in relation to the wider recoveries department.
Mat is uniquely placed to advise companies and individuals faced with financial difficulties. As an appointment-taking insolvency practitioner he is a qualified to accept appointments as liquidator, trustee in bankruptcy, and other officeholder roles under the Insolvency Act 1986.
Mat has over 16 years specialist experience in the insolvency sector, becoming a partner in our recoveries department in 2012. He advises national and international corporate clients in relation to the recovery of large debts from non-paying customers.
He has been recognised as an 'expert in his field' in The Legal 500.
Matthew Dix (IP No.21492) is authorised to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Insolvency Practitioners Association, and is bound by the Insolvency Code of Ethics.
