Sarah Adams is a partner in the Wills, estates, tax and trusts team, based at our Grimsby office.
Sarah is a specialist succession planning lawyer with over 12 years of experience. Her role at Wilkin Chapman involves the administration of estates and advising personal representatives at all stages of the process.
She also deals with estate and tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts, and applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney.

She is capable of delivering sound wealth planning advice and handling all aspects of estate and succession planning, including the preparation of Wills, the creation and administration of trusts, applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney and tax planning.

Sarah has experience in the agriculture sector advising farming businesses and families on succession planning and the availability of inheritance tax reliefs on farming and business assets.
Education
Sarah completed a Bachelor of Law with Criminology at the University of Hull before going on to complete a Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in York.

Sarah holds full membership with the Society for Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP), having earned the STEP Diploma in 2015. STEP is global professional body of lawyers that help families plan for their future. This qualification is a testament to her proven expertise and commitment to excellence. Her skills and ongoing professional development equip her with the proficiency to provide clients with exceptional advice.
She is also a non-executive director of Hull University Union Services Limited, which is the subsidiary organisation of Hull University Students’ Union and runs all of the commercial services; the proceeds raised from running the services are gifted annually back to the charity to help it fulfil its charitable objectives.
