  1. Key specialisms

    Contract disputes

When individuals or companies enter into a contract for the sale of goods and/or services, a legal issue can arise if the other party doesn’t fulfil their obligations as per the contract.

Jacob represents clients who have been affected by other parties not fulfilling their obligations, working to ensure they are compensated for any loss suffered as a result of the other party’s actions.

    Property disputes

Jacob often represents clients who have a beneficial interest in a property, but another party is seeking to deny them of that interest. To resolve this, he works closely with clients to understand their best interests and negotiate the best possible outcome for them.

    Partnership disputes

Jacob is an expert in dealing with partnership disputes, especially agricultural farming partnerships - which are common across Lincolnshire. When such disputes arise, he is able to provide the necessary legal advice and aid in settlement negotiations, as well as issuing legal proceedings where necessary.

    Shareholder and director disputes

In his role, Jacob works with a range of businesses - from large scale companies to small, family-run firms - to support them with commercial disputes and shareholder matters. He takes a personal approach to every case, ensuring his service is tailored to each client’s desired outcome.

  2. Sectors

    Agriculture

Jacob specialises in agricultural disputes, acting for individuals experiencing disputes with the agricultural partnerships they’re involved in. His work has also seen him act for local farmers in relation to boundary disputes with their neighbours.

    Tourism and leisure

Jacob works with a number of commercial clients that run businesses in the tourism industry and is able to deal with any disputes that arise as part of their operations.

  3. Education

Jacob completed both a Bachelor of Law (LLB) at Newcastle University and a Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Northumbria University. He completed his training contract with the firm before qualifying in 2024.
