Our offices will close for the Christmas period from 5pm on Monday 23 December 2024 and re-open at 9am on Thursday 2 January 2025
Caitlin Bellamy is a solicitor in the family law team, based at our Louth office.
Caitlin is responsible for assisting and supporting clients with a wide range of family matters including divorce and associated financial matters, as well as private children matters.
She takes a personal yet professional approach to supporting clients through what is often a very difficult and disruptive time, providing practical legal solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
Divorce
Caitlin has a wealth of knowledge about the ‘no fault’ divorce process which was introduced in April 2022. Her role involves supporting clients with divorce cases, which includes applying for divorce on their behalf and following this through to Conditional and then Final Order to conclude matters.
Financial settlements
Upon the breakdown of a marriage, it can be difficult to see how your capital and income needs will be met. It’s important that you are fully appraised of your ex-spouse’s financial position, so you are able to make informed decisions as to any financial settlement.
Caitlin assists and supports clients in ensuring a fair financial settlement is achieved, allowing you to feel confident and financially secure following the end of your marriage.
Private children matters
The breakdown of a marriage or relationship can often lead to questions or disagreements as to child arrangements. In these circumstances, Caitlin is able to assist with negotiations and support if and when court applications become necessary, always ensuring the welfare of the child is at the heart of negotiations.
Caitlin completed both a law degree (BA Law) at the University of Nottingham and a Master of Law (LLM) in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law before qualifying in September 2024, following completion of her training contract.
Submit an enquiry and Caitlin will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your needs.
