Sharon is a Partner within our private client team, based at our Grimsby office.
Sharon has extensive experience of all aspects of wills, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and the administration of estates. She also deals with Court of Protection matters, financial management under Attorney documents, tax planning and elderly client issues. She specialises in high-value estates and those involving agricultural and business interests.
Sharon is praised for her ‘honest and straightforward approach’ by the Legal 500, 2017. She is recognised for her management of complex farming estates including mixed assets, insurance policies held in trust and property.
Holding an LLB (Hons) Law degree and Trust and Estates Practitioner qualification, Sharon qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and has worked for over 15 years in the probate, Wills, estates, tax and trust department. She joined Grange Wintringham in 1989 before the merge with Wilkin Chapman LLP. Sharon is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Law Society Probate Section.
