Rachel is a senior solicitor working in our Recoveries department. She is experienced in dealing with defended commercial litigation claims, particularly those that are complex and of high value. Rachel specialises in the niche area of utility litigation. Her clients range from owner-managed businesses to national companies.
Starting her legal career in 2006, after graduating from the University of Leicester, Rachel began working as paralegal in a traditional high street practice. During this time, and her training contract, Rachel gained experience of a wide variety of areas of law before qualifying in December 2010. Since qualification, Rachel has focused on commercial litigation in a recoveries context and is now an experienced specialist in this field.
As well as providing an excellent service to clients, Rachel is responsible for training and development of the ever-growing Recoveries Department. In her spare time, Rachel has written and self-published a textbook on contract law for students and has many more ideas in the pipeline for future projects.
