Lisa-Jane is a partner at our Lincoln office and head of department for our private client team, dealing with Wills, estates, tax and trusts.
Lisa-Jane acts for High Net Worth clients with complex estates, particularly those involving business and agricultural assets. She is a pension trustee of a Staff Pension Scheme, advises on private client issues for contentious probate matters, and takes on a management and consultancy role within the Firm, leading the private client team across all Wilkin Chapman offices.
She specialises in:
- Inheritance Tax and Administration of estates
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief
- Pensions in a Trustee capacity
Lisa-Jane has over 20 years' experience in dealing with wills, inheritance tax planning, trusts and probates and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
She is also a Level 2 LIVES Responder for Lincolnshire.
Her career started when she graduated from Oxford Brookes University (1992), then qualifying at the College of Law in Chester (1994), achieving a distinction for the Legal Practice Course. She took on a training contract within the Lincolnshire Crown Prosecution Service in 1996, and then worked at Eversheds (Nottingham), Tax Department, before joining Wilkin Chapman in 2001.
