Katherine Marshall



Katherine Marshall is a solicitor within the disputes resolution team in our Lincoln and Horncastle offices.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2009 having undertaken her training with a large regional firm. Following qualification Katherine joined a niche litigation Firm dividing her time between the Lincolnshire and London offices before joining Wilkin Chapman in 2018.

Katherine deals with both commercial clients and private individuals in a range of civil and commercial disputes including contract disputes, shareholder and director disputes and boundary disputes. Katherine particularly specialises in contentious probate work and professional liability claims.

In relation to contentious probate work, Katherine is currently undertaking the prestigious Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialist course and expects to become an accredited member of the Association in Summer 2018. Katherine regularly advises clients in connection with potential challenges to wills and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 if a will had failed to make reasonable financial provision for a party

Katherine is also a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association and has acted on behalf of clients in claims against a range of professionals including:
