Dave is an executive in the public law department at the firm's Grimsby office.

He is a former senior police officer having held the positions of Divisional Commander, Detective Chief Superintendent and Head of Professional Standards. Dave retired from the Police at the end of 2009 having completed 31 years service.

Following some time as a Consultant with Wilkin Chapman, he joined the Public Law team in April 2012.

Dave specialises in complex investigations which more recently have included the investigation of significant whistle blowing allegations in a mental health NHS trust; taxi licensing issues at a district council; code of conduct complaints within a City Council following the publication of Public Interest Report and allegations of corruption within a planning department at a City Council.

He also responsible for the daily management of all investigations ensuring a close liaison with instructing clients.
