Wind Farms - Offshore Renewable Support
With our particular experience and extensive knowledge of the Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire region, we can deal with landowners for onshore cable easements for offshore projects, and have worked on Triton Knoll, Hornsea One and Two and Humber Gateway.

Wind Turbines and Wind Farms

We can advise you on the issues relating to the transfer, purchase, and installation, refinancing and restructuring of commercial wind turbines and can help you to resolve disputes through our dispute resolution service.
We also specialise in dealing with option and lease agreements and have acted for over 40 different landowners throughout the UK.
Biomass - Anaerobic Digesters
We have built up considerable experience and knowledge in the biomass field and have advised on projects such as; the acquisition and construction of a 400KW facility in Huddersfield. We are used to working on projects that have standard form construction engineering contracts on tight timescales, and often with complicated structuring and funding issues. We can help you with:

Our lawyers help a large number of landowners in the granting of options and leases for solar parks on open land, together with documents such as easements, licences for works, exclusivity arrangements and planning information. We also deal with rooftop leases for solar panels and rooftop panels within commercial leases and are delighted that our new building in Grimsby has solar panels on the roof.
In addition, we act for energy companies in relation to the purchase, development, and sale of solar parks.
Renewable Crops – Miscanthus
We can deal with the negotiation of:

- Contracts with power companies
As NFU appointed lawyers, we have advised approximately 80 growers of miscanthus on the termination of their growers’ contracts and the subsequent migration of supply to a local power station, involving advice on the terms of supply to the power station.
We later advised on the acquisition of one of the principal buyers and suppliers of miscanthus.
Short Term Operating Reserve (STOR) and Battery Storage Projects
