Horncastle solicitors celebrate 25 years milestone

The Horncastle office of Wilkin Chapman Grange Solicitors is celebrating not just one, but two members of staff reaching their 25 years’ service milestones.

Claire Parker, partner and head of domestic property, along with Nigel Plaskitt, chartered legal executive, both celebrate their quarter of a century’s service with the firm this year.

Claire joined the solicitors’ practice in 1989 and qualified as a solicitor in 1997. She became a partner in 2001 and subsequently became the branch partner at the law firm’s Horncastle office. She is the head of the firm’s residential property department, and is also a trustee of, and the secretary for, Age UK Lindsey. Claire is very active in the local community and has built a strong reputation and solid client base which reflect her knowledge and expertise in a wide range of legal matters.

Nigel moved to the Horncastle office in 1996 and has been there ever since. He is a chartered legal executive and deals with all types of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and equity release mortgages.

Commenting on their long service achievements, Claire Parker said: “It’s hard to believe that we both joined Wilkin Chapman 25 years ago. It has been great to see how both the firm and the Horncastle office have grown, and gone from strength to strength during the last three decades.

“Both Nigel and I have been a lot of changes since we joined the firm; from using old-fashioned typewriters for correspondence, to fully computerised systems and sending clients information by email. However, one thing has remained constant and that is our commitment to making sure that clients receive the best possible service they can from us.”

Wilkin Chapman Solicitors opened its first office in Horncastle in 1992 and in 2001 moved to Bank Street Corner, where it still operates from today.
