Law firm celebrates promotion of agriculture solicitor

Lincoln based law firm Wilkin Chapman LLP, has promoted senior solicitor, Catherine Harris to be a partner in its Agriculture team.

Catherine Harris, a fellow of the Agricultural Law Association, joined Wilkin Chapman’s Agricultural team in 2006 when she moved back to her Lincolnshire roots. Catherine, a Cambridge Law graduate, comes from a farming family and this aligned with her legal experience, gives her a depth of knowledge enabling her to appreciate the practical issues faced by farmers.

Catherine advises on a range of issues including farm sales and acquisitions, farm diversification projects, restructuring of farm businesses and agricultural tenancies. She has become known for her work in acting for a number of estates which are able to utilise her strong academic background and practical understanding of agricultural issues.

Catherine received recognition in the Legal 500 in 2013 and this year has seen her ranked in the Chambers UK directory.
