Rebecca Treece is a solicitor within our Wills, estates, tax and trusts team based in our Lincoln office.
Rebecca supports clients when making decisions regarding their lifetime and succession planning. She meets clients to advise them with the making of Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, applications to the Court of Protection for Deputyship Orders, and obtaining Grants of Probate/Letters of Administration, as well as the administration of estates. Rebecca is then responsible for drafting the documentation to put these wishes in motion.
Rebecca joined Wilkin Chapman in 2014 where she has specialised in private client matters. She deals with straightforward to complex Wills, incorporating full Discretionary Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, administration of estates and advising clients on Inheritence Tax.
She completed her 2 STEP Advanced Certificates (in Administration of Estates and the Administration of Trusts), which grants her the accreditation as a STEP Associate and, once she has completed her studies, she will become a full STEP Member.
Studying at the University of Lincoln, Rebecca graduated in 2009 with a 1st (Hons) in Law and was also awarded Law Student of the Year. She passed her Legal Practice Course with Distinction at the College of Law in York. Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in 2012 following a training contract with another law firm.
