Natalie Bartlett is a senior associate in the real estate team, based in our Grimsby office.
Natalie’s primary role involves advising both individuals and corporations on acquisitions, disposals and leases in the commercial property space. She is also an expert in advising on secured lending for acquisitions and refinancing.
She regularly supports clients with regeneration and development matters including the implications of grant funding agreements, development agreements and option agreements. She also has experience dealing with the property law implications of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract expiry.
Before joining Wilkin Chapman, Natalie worked for Kingston upon Hull City Council, where she was involved in city-wide regeneration and development. This included work on the ongoing Albion Square development and the new Community Diagnostic Centre.

Natalie has a wealth of commercial property law knowledge. She has previously worked on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, as well as advising on, granting and renewing leases.
Development
Natalie’s seven years of experience have seen her become an expert in development, including advising grant funders on title issues and advising on development agreements.
Sectors
Education
Natalie has experience in dealing with academy conversions, including advising in respect of schools built under PFIs. Her work in the education sector involves a range of land transactions for schools including acquisitions, disposals and leasing property. She can also provide general property advice to schools, including whether there is the requirement for Department for Education consent.
Education
Natalie studied at the University of Hull and completed a Legal Practice Course (LPC) at The College of Law in York, before qualifying in 2017.
Voluntary work and memberships
Natalie is a registered e-mentor with the University of Hull, where she supports current Law students in developing their CVs, applications and interview skills to assist them in finding employment and training opportunities.
