Monika joins Wilkin Chapman as a solicitor within our commercial property department.
She started her legal career as a Paralegal in a Personal Injury department. During a Training Contract – as a Trainee Solicitor Monika worked and gained experience in Civil Litigation (including Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Industrial Diseases), Family Law and Residential Conveyancing.
Monika graduated from Nottingham Law School in 2015 and recently qualified as a solicitor in 2019.
She acts for regional and national Housing Developers and Housing Associations in connection with the sale of new build properties, including freehold, leasehold, Help to Buy, shared equity, part exchange, bulk sales to investors and sales to registered affordable housing providers (including affordable rent and shared ownership leases). She also deals with all aspects of development - new site set-up, infrastructure agreements, deeds of grant and easement, transfers of electrical substations and transfers of open space.
Monika is a member Chartered Institute of Linguists: Polish/English Translator/Interpreter.
