Margaret Phillips is a senior paralegal and team leader within the recoveries department based in our Grimsby office.
She acts for commercial organisations primarily debt purchasers undertaking collections and legal recovery work. She assists in the management of the team, managing resources on a day to day basis and liaising with clients to ensure work is conducted within agreed service levels. Margaret has experience in collections, legal recoveries and enforcement. She is highly experienced in management practices focusing on implementing effective recovery strategies, motivating and developing personnel within the debt recovery arena.
Margaret has a Law degree from University of Lincoln and joined the firm as a paralegal in 2014 within the recoveries team and progressed to a senior paralegal & team leader in 2018. She is a registered first aider, mental health first aider and has also completed suicide awareness training. She has a Level 3 diploma in Management and Leadership and is also undertaking studies to qualify as a chartered legal executive.
