Key specialisms
Advice to farmers
Laura deals with complex trusts and estates for farming clients, including claims for agricultural property relief and business property relief, claims for loss relief on sale of shares and/or property, and claims for the residence nil rate band.
Advice to insolvency practitioners
She also provides specialist legal advice to insolvency practitioners on administering a deceased person’s estate for the benefit of the bankruptcy estate. This is a niche area of expertise where she works closely with insolvency practitioners to realise the deceased’s estate and if necessary, make a passing over application, in order for the estate to be distributed and the bankruptcy estate to be concluded.
This can involve complex applications, such as:
Passing over executors / administrators under S.116 Senior Courts Act 1981
Applications for Grants of Administration de Bonis non
Removal of executors / administrators.
Submit an enquiry and Laura will be in touch as soon as possible to discuss your needs.
