Emma Ellinor is a partner in the commercial property team based in our Grimsby office.
Emma has significant experience in development work, acting for both private and public companies on all aspects of acquisition and development of commercial, residential and mixed-use sites. This includes dealing with joint ventures, land promotion and complex overage arrangements. She also acts for registered housing providers and particularly enjoys working on regeneration schemes.
She provides proactive advice and understands the commercial aspect behind every transaction. Emma’s development expertise is complimented by a good working knowledge of construction issues, including dealing with the Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) suite of documents and bespoke construction contracts.
Her experience also includes acting for the region’s largest house builder on acquisitions, social housing sales, planning, infrastructure and site set-up – remaining in close liaison with the firm’s dedicated plot sales team throughout to ensure a seamless team approach.
Emma is a sector specialist in our education sector, providing a cohesive network of practical advice and support for all education clients including dealing with academy conversions and acquisitions, redevelopment schemes and land disposals.
Emma also acts for institutional lenders on secured lending and pension funds on sales and purchases. She also has vast experience in landlord and tenant matters.
In her spare time, Emma sits as a parish councillor on her local parish council.
