Wilkin Chapman supports Women’s Aid’s ‘Night at the Oscars’
Wilkin Chapman solicitors were proud to support the Women’s Aid ‘Night at the Oscars’ event, which recognised the enormous achievements of the charity’s staff and volunteers.
The red carpet event, which was held at The Pelham Suite on Friday 30 September, was organised as a surprise by CEO Denise Farman to thank team members for their ongoing efforts for the Grimsby branch of this national charity, which works to end domestic abuse against women and children.
Wilkin Chapman sponsored two tables at the event to enable staff members to attend for free. Wilkin Chapman partner Jane Eatock along with colleague Tracey Rowbotham were proud to be able to represent the firm at the event.
Commenting on the evening, Jane said: “I’m incredibly honoured to have been asked to present an award at this fantastic event. Women’s Aid is a long-standing client of ours - I’ve seen over the years the valuable work carried out by Denise and her team there, not to mention their tireless commitment and passion. A Night at the Oscars was a very special night indeed.”
