Skegness solicitor joins Alford law firm

Alford law firm, Wilkin Chapman solicitors, has strengthened its team with the appointment of senior solicitor, Anne Dales.

Anne, who lives in Spilsby, joins the firm following a move from a solicitors’ office in Skegness. She will look after private clients, dealing with wills, probate, powers of attorney, court of protection and more, and brings over 20 years’ experience to the team, based in South Market Place.

Anne is married with a young daughter and is involved in Scouting in her spare time - she is the chair of the Skegness and Spilsby Scout District. Her father’s family has close links to Alford – her grandfather having farmed and then diversified into tourism by opening a campsite in Skegness in the 1920s. The campsite expanded into a caravan site, Rose Villa, which still remains in the family.

Anne said: “Since joining the firm this spring, I’ve gained enormous job satisfaction from meeting new clients in the area. It’s often a highly emotional and challenging time for them, when they seek out our help and advice. I’m fortunate to be supported by a brilliant team here at Wilkin Chapman to ensure that, collectively, we deliver that crucial support for our clients.”

Rupert Houltby, partner at the law firm’s Alford office, said: “Anne’s knowledge, experience and caring approach have already shown her to be a huge asset to the firm and to the clients she has served since joining us. We are delighted that she is part of our team here in Alford.”
