As my legal career has progressed, so has my interest in this area of law. It is diverse, and the outcomes can be incredibly rewarding – from assisting a business in sponsoring a skilled employee from outside the European Economic Area, to ensuring a happy ending for a UK resident who wishes to spend their life with a non-British partner.
Brexit, of course, brings its own challenges, for workers from the European Economic Area who are providing vital skills here in the UK.

With my obvious interest in immigration law apparent, it may surprise you to know that following my initial degree I studied for a Masters in Sports Law – with the aim to become a sports agent!
My career journey has also taken me into the retail sector, before becoming a Paralegal and taking the CILEx route into solicitor qualification.
Aside from my career, I am happily settled in Lincoln where I have lived for most of my life and I do still enjoy sport!'
