A trio of promotions for Beverley office

The Beverley based office of Wilkin Chapman LLP, has announced three promotions for members of staff at the Lairgate office. James Marsden, Laura Hook and Gary Taylor have all been promoted to senior solicitors and took up their new positions in April.

James joined Wilkin Chapman as a trainee solicitor, qualifying in 2011, and specialises in family law. He has experience of a broad range of family matters and has extensive experience in dealing with high value financial matters, complex cohabitation matters and private children proceedings. Commenting on his promotion, James said: “I’m delighted with the promotion and am looking forward to helping the firm’s family law department grow even further.”

Laura joined the solicitors’ practice in 2013, following the merger with Carrick Read. Laura works within the recoveries department and focuses on contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters in respect of both personal and corporate insolvencies. Laura said: “Becoming a senior solicitor is really gratifying and I look forward to continuing to provide the best possible outcomes for my clients and playing my part in the growth of the department.”

Gary Taylor joined the firm in 2012 working in the recoveries department. He advises and acts for creditors and insolvency practitioners in respect of both personal and corporate insolvencies. Commenting on his new role, Gary said, “I am really proud to have been promoted to senior solicitor and am looking forward to an exciting future with the firm.”
