MyPay London was launched by the charity Legal Action Group to help workers claim unpaid wages without the need to hire a solicitor. It provides online help to workers in calculating the sums they are owed and in formulating tribunal claims to recover the money.
Most employers pay their employees fairly, but we all make mistakes sometimes. Websites such as this one will make it easier for employees to bring tribunal claims if they think they have been underpaid. Litigation is expensive to defend. It is much better to avoid it in the first place. Always deal with complaints about wages promptly and seek to resolve issues before they snowball.
