Following guidance (authored by Jonathan Goolden and Dave Hayward) published in the Police Professional magazine and subsequent requests to provide training, we have developed complaint handling training for police and crime panels and officers working within the office for the police and crime commissioner.
Tailor-made training for police and crime panels
The training can be designed and delivered to meet your organisational needs and training requirements and to maintain the integrity of your policies and procedures. The training can be delivered at your premises or offsite locations.
Expert and knowledgeable trainers
The training is delivered by our public law team, which includes former senior police officers. The trainers are practitioners in their own right and can draw on significant experience in dealing with and advising on matters concerning complaints and conduct issues involving police and crime commissioners.
