Introducing: Rob Andrews

Wilkin Chapman welcomes a new and highly experienced member to the firm’s growing Recoveries and Insolvency team, Rob Andrews.

Here our new Client Relationship Manager, Rob Andrews, tells us a little bit about his past career and how he is looking forward to expanding his role with us.

“My career in this field – both in the public and private sector – spans more than 40 years so you can imagine the changes that I’ve witnessed over that time.

However, with change, brings further opportunity and I have always been keen to grow, to match the evolving needs of the business environment.

Before a move into the private sector, I spent 23 years with two local authorities dealing with all aspects of local taxation billing, collection and enforcement.

There followed 20 years working closely with the public sector in various roles, including software implementation and latterly business development for the recovery and enforcement of local authority debts and fraud detection services.

Such a background has afforded me a unique insight into this business area, which will prove invaluable as I grow relationships with our clients here, which includes more than 100 local authorities across England and Wales.

This is a period of growth and opportunity for the department, which is unique in offering both legal and insolvency practitioner services within one organisation and I am looking forward to working with Paul Bowden and the dedicated local government team.”
