Katie George

Katie is an experienced HR professional. For the past 11 years, she has been an HR Officer and HR Manager with Headland Foods and later with Bakkavor Mariner Foods before joining Wilkin Chapman. Having made a career at the coalface of HR practice, Katie has changed the direction of her career to build upon and develop her skills with the firm's employment lawyers.

Katie was recruited primarily to assist the employment team in the Grimsby office, particularly with the preparation of Employment Tribunal cases. However, her HR background and expertise mean she can also be made available to clients who either have no in house HR expertise or who need to augment their existing HR resources for particular HR projects. She is available to help with any HR issue from recruitment to disciplinary and grievance hearings.
