Jonathan West

Jonathan qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 having previously undertaken his training with Wilkin Chapman Grange. He became a partner in 2004.

Jonathan deals with a variety of litigation cases and has established a substantial landlord and tenant practice. He advises a number of Registered Social Landlords and Housing Associations on all aspects of landlord and tenant litigation including ASBI's, ASBO's, demotion, possession and disrepair cases.

He also acts for a number of private landlords with both small and large property portfolios. His team is able to offer competitive fixed fee prices for all possession cases based on section 21 and section 8 notices and for setting up new tenancy agreements.

Jonathan also has considerable experience in licensing law. He regularly appears before council committees representing Premises Licence holders in contested applications for new or varied licences and in review cases. He also advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law.

He has considerable advocacy experience before the civil courts, employment tribunal and Council Committees.

Jonathan is Chairman of North East Lincolnshire Community Mediation Service.
