Andrew Wareing

Andrew studied law at Leeds University. He completed his legal practice course at Chester Law School and qualified as a solicitor in 1983. He was previously a Partner and Head of the Family Law Department with law firm, Symes Bains Broomer and had been a Partner at the Scunthorpe based practice from 1987 to 2003.

Andrew is a highly qualified family practitioner with over 20 years experience in dealing with a wide range of family issues. He qualified as a Family Mediator in 1997 and is accredited by the Legal Services Commission. He is also a member of the UK College of Family Mediators and can practice this in Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Louth, Horncastle, Hull and Beverley. Andrew is also a member of the Court of Appeal mediators.

He is also a member of the Law Society's Family Law Accreditation Scheme, Family Mediation Accreditation Scheme, a Resolution trained collaborative lawyer, an Accredited Specialist of Resolution (formerly SFLA) with an advanced specialism in court appearances about finance and children, a member of the Family Mediators Association he is also qualified to mediate with children.

Andrew is currently the Chairman of Scunthorpe Citizens Advice.
