Advice to Registered Social Landlords, Arms Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations

Over the last ten years Wilkin Chapman LLP has considerably developed it’s housing practice advising Registered Social Landlord’s (“RSLs”), Arms Length management Organisations (“ALMOs”) and Housing Associations.

The Housing Litigation team is lead by partner Jonathan West who is assisted by Joshua Briggs. The main focus of their work has been partnership working with landlords to use the full range of processes and procedures to curb anti-social behaviour.

Possession proceedings, demotion cases, ASBIs and ASBOs are just some of the enforcement tools which have been used.

Partner Martyn Chilvers leads the property department advising landlords on all non-contentious property issues including large scale development projects and agreements including compulsory purchases.
